Kingsham Primary School

Breakfast and After-School Club

We would like to welcome you and your child to our Out of School Hours Club. The information below sets out how the club runs, the payment system and the expectations.

This was an email that we received from a parent about her three children's experience of the club:

"I just wanted to send a quick email, with a big thank you to everyone involved in the after school club.

My children have enjoyed every minute. It’s very clear from their feedback, that it’s being run to such a high standard, with fun activities for all ages. It’s such an asset to our school and has made my return to the office, much easier. So again, thank you so much!"

Breakfast club

Breakfast club runs every day from Monday to Friday, 8am until the start of the school day.

The club is £4 per session which includes breakfast. Please note that breakfast will only be served until 8:15am, if your child arrives after this then we may not be able to serve them breakfast. Charges apply for each session booked. If your child is unwell or unable to attend then you will still be charged. You can, however, cancel sessions as late as 3pm the day before by contacting the office.

To book a place, simply go to the Arbor app and click on 'Clubs'. You will then be able to choose the day which you would like to book your child(ren) in for. You will need to pay for the booking at that point using the Arbor App. If you need support with this, please contact the school office.

After School Club

After School Club runs every day from Monday to Friday from the end of the school day until 5.30pm. All children must be collected by this time. The club will cost £7 per session and will include a light snack, not an evening meal.

As with Breakfast club in order to book a place, simply go to the Arbor app and click on 'Clubs'. You will then be able to choose the day which you would like to book your child(ren) in for. You can book sessions a term in advance. You will need to pay for the booking at that point using the Arbor App. If you need support with this, please contact the school office.

If your child is unwell or unable to attend then you will still be charged. You can, however, cancel sessions as late as 3pm the day before by contacting the office.

“My favourite thing about after-school club is all the different sports we get to play, I like playing hockey on Wednesdays!” – Lucas 9

“I really enjoy baking during club, especially when we bake cupcakes.” – Lily 8

Payment

Payments for both clubs must be made through Arbor at the point of booking. If payment is not received, then your child will not be able to attend the club.

Club expectations

All children attending the Out of School Hours club will be expected to follow the school values and behaviour expectations at all times. Any issues or concerns with the Out of School Hours club should be raised in the same way as issues surrounding the school day.

Up-to-date details

When you receive confirmation that your child has a place in the Out of School Hours club you will be required to complete an online acceptance form. This form allows you to inform the club staff of any allergies your child may have and the contact details of anyone who will be collecting your child. If any of these details subsequently change please ensure you update the school office as soon possible.

If you have any questions about the club please feel free to contact the school office or speak to a member of the Out of School Hours club staff.
