An exciting opportunity has arisen in our wonderful community school for a part-time Breakfast Club Supervisor. We are looking for someone to work effectively as part of the Breakfast Club team every morning for up to 30 children. You will be preparing the breakfast food and activities and then welcoming children into school before school starts.

Breakfast Club is a service that is paid for by parents and carers who drop their children to school before the school day begins. Your role is key to starting a child’s day in the most positive way possible, from a warm welcome into the club to ensuring the children who come to the club are ready in their classroom to start their day.

Our school is vibrant and forward-thinking with passionate staff who always strive to get the best for every child. We are committed to providing high-quality education and have developed a curriculum to match. As a school in The University of Chichester Academy Trust, you will have the support of other schools within the Trust as well as our experienced team of staff.

We are looking for a warm, reliable and enthusiastic new team member to work within our busy school office in this varied role. We are looking for someone who shares our commitment and enthusiasm to develop the best possible provision for our children and ensure that those who come to the breakfast club have a great start to their day.

You will be expected to:

  • Prepare the healthy breakfast meals for the children to help themselves (Cereal, toast, bagels, drinks)
  • Prepare some activities for the children to do and to support them at this time
  • Ensure children are in a clean and safe environment at all times
  • Keep an accurate register of all children attending
  • Ensure the space is clean, tidy and ready in preparation for Breakfast Club and afterwards for the rest of the school day at the end of the club.

In return, you will be part of the University of Chichester Academy Trust, bringing you added benefits and opportunities. You will find that each of our Academies has a unique identity, but a shared belief in creating a positive and enriching environment, where all staff feel valued.
