After much anticipation and a few last-minute changes due to the weather conditions, children across the school were finally able to take part in our specially planned tree planting day to help extend our wonderful forest school area.

Children across the different key stages worked together in teams to dig, plant and water the trees which we received from The Chichester District Council free tree scheme. As a school we were successful in our application last summer when this process took place.

The children have been especially keen to get outside and get involved in this exciting project, everyone that took part did so with enthusiasm and energy creating a lovely outdoor learning opportunity.

Pupils are looking forward to taking care of the trees and watch them grow in the future years ahead.
