Day cleaner 9.30am until 2.30pm

Actual annual salary of £9320.45p

(Full time equivalent salary of £17,842)

Kingsham Primary School is set in spacious grounds close to the centre of Chichester. The school has a strong sense of community for the 275 pupils with a set of shared values which underpin the life of the school. The dedicated team of staff and Governors strive to create an environment in which every child is a happy and successful learner:  confident – independent – motivated.

We are looking for an individual who enjoys cleaning and would like to make a positive difference to the environment of our pupils.  Whilst working as part of a team, you will have responsibility for the daily cleaning of designated areas of the school, ensuring a hygienic and safe environment for pupils, teachers and visitors.

Taking a pride in the cleanliness of the school, you will ensure safe working practices, using products and equipment in accordance with guidelines and ensure classrooms are secure and locked.  Ideally with similar previous experience, it is important to the school that you have conscientious and reliable approach, being self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
