It was a joy to host the Kingsham Cross Country event last week and watch so many impressive performances from Years 4, 5 and 6.

Thankfully, the weather improved towards the end of the day, so we managed to run the event which featured the finalists from the class events run earlier in the week.

A lap of the Kingsham fields is 500m, so the Year 4 children ran 2 laps to complete 1000m, while the Year 5 and 6 children ran 3 laps for 1500m.

The performances of the children were extremely impressive and the atmosphere amongst the athletes was one of support and encouragement to the end. Well done to everyone who made the final!

Girls Year 4

• 1st place – Rebecca (Willow)​

• 2nd place – Ava (Maple)​

• 3rd place – Paddie-Mai (Willow)

Boys Year 4

• 1st place – Hugo (Maple) ​

• 2nd place – Junior (Maple) ​

• 3rd place – Harrison (Maple)

Girls Year 5/6

• 1st place – Eden (Birch) ​

• 2nd place – Abbi (Poplar)​

• 3rd place – Elisheva (Birch)

Boys Year 5/6

• 1st place – Frankie (Poplar)​

• 2nd place – Louis (Poplar)​

• 3rd place – Ben (Beech)

Max (Beech) was the top placed Year 5 Boy (5th overall).
