Wow! Last week, Kingsham celebrated books with 3 fantastic author visits.
Across the school, there were opportunities to meet some incredible authors!
Year 2 were fascinated by an amazing talk from Steven Lenton about the book 'Genie and Teeny'.
Children in Year 3 and 4 enjoyed a talk about 'Skeleton Keys: The Night of the Nobody'.
There were workshops in Year 5 and 6 from Ally Sherrick about the book 'The Queen's Fool'.
We were so impressed by how the children engaged with these authors as they listened well and asked thoughtful questions.
We love reading at Kingsham! Meeting these authors inspires the children to read more and get the children to write themselves. It has been great to see so many children reading the books by these authors across the school!
